2021-2022
The 2021-2022 school year for ASWWU Viking Union Gallery was extremely challenging for our staff. While the school remained open and partially accessible for its students, there was always the threat of another outbreak pushing everything online once again. This forced AS Production's gallery curator, Ruth Barnes, to create a system that was adaptable to an uncertain landscape regarding student attendance, and local artist participation. This was solved using a hybrid format, presenting certain exhibitions either physically or digitally.
The 21-22 catalogue was meant to showcase all pieces and artists from this year, while keeping with the format in which it was presented. For 8 months, I worked with Ruth to create a template and presentation that would differentiate the physical and virtual pieces.
